1. Assumption of Risk
Participation in Ikebana classes, workshops, demonstrations, and related activities involves the use of sharp tools, plant materials, containers, water, and movement within shared spaces. By participating, you acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, cuts, allergic reactions, or other injuries.
2. Health & Allergies
Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical condition and sensitivities prior to participation. Some plant materials may cause allergic reactions or irritation. It is the participant’s responsibility to inform the instructor of any relevant allergies or medical conditions and to take appropriate precautions.
3. Release of Liability
By participating in any class, workshop, or event offered by Ohara Ikebana Columbus (including affiliated study groups and venues), you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Ohara Ikebana Columbus, its instructors, volunteers, hosts, and affiliates from any claims, demands, or liability arising from injury, illness, loss, or damage, except where prohibited
4. Personal Responsibility
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided during classes and to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes a safe environment for themselves and others.
5. Venue Acknowledgement
Classes and events may be held at third-party venues. Ohara Ikebana Columbus is not responsible for the condition or maintenance of these facilities.
1. Class Registration: Registration for Ohara Ikebana classes is confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
2. Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your class registration up to 12 days before the scheduled class date. No cancellations or refunds will be processed after this period due to the advance ordering of flowers.
3. Photography and Media Consent
By purchasing a ticket for any Ohara Ikebana Columbus class, workshop, demonstration, or event, you grant permission for photographs or videos taken during the event to be used by Ohara Ikebana Columbus for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, usage on our website, social media channels, newsletters, partner marketing websites and promotional materials, and other marketing materials. If you have any concerns or wish to request an exception, please contact us in advance of your scheduled event.
1. Payment: All physical products, including Ikebana containers, tools, and books, will not be shipped until payment has been received and cleared.
2. Shipping Policy: Orders for physical products cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped.
3. Delivery: We aim to dispatch orders promptly; however, delivery times may vary based on your location and other factors.
