Join Me at the Flower Club International Online Conference 2026

I’ve been invited as a Featured Demonstrator at the Flower Club International Online Conference 2026—and I’d love for you to join me. Here’s what this global event is all about, what I’ll be presenting, and why it’s such a unique opportunity to learn from floral artists around the world.

From Columbus to the World: Join Me at a Global Floral Intensive

Every once in a while, something comes along that makes you pause and think…

“Okay…this is a big deal.”

This is one of those moments.

I’ve been invited to participate as a Featured Demonstrator in the Flower Club International Online Conference 2026—a global event bringing together floral artists, ikebana practitioners, and designers from around the world.

And I’d love for you to be part of it.

What Makes This Event Different

This isn’t just a series of demonstrations.

It’s a three-day international learning experience designed to deepen how you think about floral design—not just how you arrange flowers.

Across the three days, you’ll experience:

  • 17 structured artistic sessions from global designers and ikebana artists
  • Live demonstrations with clear explanations of technique and design decisions
  • Personal insights from each artist about their creative process and journey
  • Live Q&A sessions

The focus isn’t just on creating something beautiful—it’s on understanding why it works.

What You Actually Get (Beyond the Demonstrations)

One of the things that really impressed me about this event is how thoughtfully it’s structured.

This is not passive viewing—it’s guided learning.

Your ticket includes:

  • 3 full days of live access (with flexibility to join what fits your schedule)
  • 7-day replay access so you don’t miss anything
  • A 50+ page professional workbook with guided notes and exercises
  • 3 business-focused workshops (pricing, clients, branding, and growth)
  • 12 months of Flower Club membership, including ongoing learning and mentorship

So yes—you’ll be inspired.

But more importantly, you’ll leave with:
👉 clearer thinking
👉 practical tools
👉 and a path forward in your own work

My Session: From Form to Feeling

In my demonstration, I’ll be sharing the approach of the Ohara School of Ikebana—something I’ve been studying and teaching for over 30 years.

My session is titled:

“From Form to Feeling: The Ohara Approach to Ikebana”

I’ll be creating two arrangements:

  • A Hana-isho Rising Form, showing the structured foundation students begin with
  • A Moribana arrangement, where that structure evolves into a natural, expressive landscape

But more than that, I’ll be exploring something deeper:

👉 How we move from learning form…
👉 to expressing nature in a personal and meaningful way

Why This Matters (Even If You’ve Never Studied Ikebana)

One of the things I love most about the Ohara School is that it changes how you see.

You start noticing:

  • the way branches grow
  • the space between elements
  • the feeling of a season

And over time, arranging flowers becomes something more than decoration.

It becomes a way of observing, understanding, and expressing the natural world.

That’s what I hope to share in this session.

A Truly Global Experience

This conference brings together artists and participants from around the world—from the United States and Europe to Asia, Australia, and beyond.

It’s designed to be flexible:

  • You can attend sessions live
  • Or watch replays when it fits your schedule

So wherever you are, you can fully participate.

A Personal Note

When I started studying ikebana in 1993, I never imagined I’d one day be sharing it as part of an international conference like this.

So this feels a little surreal.

But more than anything, I’m excited.

Excited to share what I’ve learned.
Excited to connect with people from around the world.
And excited to be part of something that brings together tradition, creativity, and the future of floral design.

I hope you’ll join me.

🌿

If you do register, feel free to let me know—I’d love to hear what you’re most excited to learn.
